How much should I budget for my wedding or event florals?

Investment amounts will vary depending on your vision and guest count. A general guideline is to allocate 10-15% of your total wedding budget to florals. Our full-service clients in the San Francisco Bay Area typically invest between $20-45K in florals.

Can we make changes to our floral order after signing the contract?

Absolutely. We understand that plans evolve. You can make changes to your order up until 30 days before your event to ensure we can meet your needs seamlessly. Any changes will be confirmed via email for accuracy, and we’ll check in with you throughout the process to review all the details.

Do you book multiple events per day?

Never. We limit the number of events we take on each year in order to create from a place of inspiration and provide each client with a tailored, luxury experience. This allows us to give you our full attention and a high-touch, seamless service. Learn more about our approach here.

What do your services include?

With our full-service offering for weddings and events, we guide you through every step of the floral design journey to ensure a seamless and stress-free experience, tailored to you and your vision. The process includes custom floral concept development including digital renderings, sourcing, planning, mockup, site visit, delivery, installation, and post-event breakdown. Learn more here.

Are we able to see a sample or mockup floral tablescape in advance of our event?

Yes. We offer an optional mockup service to show you your planned table florals at your rental showroom or venue. The mockup is designed to ensure we’re aligned on palette, size, essence, and aesthetic. Think of floral artists like chefs — we work only with the highest quality, in-season ingredients. So if a mockup is held in a different season than your wedding, we will use alternative yet similar blooms.

What’s your approach to sustainability?

Sustainability is at the core of everything we do. We focus on sourcing from local, fair-wage, and pesticide-free growers. We also use reusable mechanics and alternatives to toxic, single-use floral foam. Our designs are low-waste but high-impact, and we maintain strict composting standards. We extend our sustainable practices across all aspects of the business to ensure your floral experience is as environmentally conscious as it is beautiful.

Do you ever repurpose flower arrangements from the wedding ceremony to the reception?

Absolutely, when it makes sense for the design and logistics. Repurposing is one of my favorite ways to extend the life of wedding flowers and support our sustainability efforts. We’ll assess the specific setup ahead of time and suggest the best ways to transition pieces from ceremony to reception to ensure everything flows beautifully and seamlessly.

Do you work with event planners and designers?

Yes! Every wedding, event, and corporate client I work with has a planner or designer who leads the overall design aesthetic, then brings in vendors who align with that vision. We’ll collaborate closely to create a floral design that feels cohesive and intentional. Reach out and I can send you a list of my favorite planners in the San Francisco Bay Area/Northern California!

What happens to the flowers after the wedding?

Our team handles the cleanup and removal of all floral elements, including rental items, according to your venue’s timeline. If you’d like to offer your florals as take-home gifts for guests, please let us know in advance, and we’ll ensure everything goes smoothly!

What does a wedding & event florist actually do?

A wedding florist conceptualizes, sources, designs, delivers, and installs all floral elements for weddings. This includes everything from bouquets and centerpieces to larger-scale installations like a ceremony arch. While a lot of the hands-on work happens the week of the wedding, 6-12 months of pre-planning involves proposals, design decks, supplier orders, budgeting, logistics and timelines, sourcing other rental items like vases and candles, and staffing.

Where do you source your flowers?

We prioritize sourcing from small local flower farms and grower collectives to ensure the freshest, most unique seasonal blooms, in support of sustainable floristry. We also take advantage of the San Francisco Flower Market (one of the largest wholesale flower markets in the U.S.) for additional variety. We even forage for special seasonal ingredients to enhance our designs when the occasion calls for it.

Do you offer rentals?

Yes! We offer a curated selection of tablescape items, including vessels, vases, styling props, and candles to complement your floral design. We also work with trusted specialty rental companies to source larger installation items (such as arches, chuppahs, etc.) on your behalf. If you need a specific item we don’t carry, we’re happy to source it for you from a trusted partner, and we’ll discuss any additional sourcing fees upfront. We always strive to accommodate your vision.

Are you available for our rehearsal dinner, welcome party, or farewell brunch?

We’d LOVE the opportunity to design florals for your other events. It’s a great way to create a cohesive aesthetic experience for you and your guests. Let us know your needs, and we’ll work with you to develop a plan for your other events. Check our availability here.

How do we get started?

We keep it easy. Once you’re ready, we’ll send over a deposit invoice ($1,250 that gets credited to your total balance) and a service agreement. Both can be easily completed online in just a few clicks. After that, we’ll provide a personalized roadmap for your floral journey, ensuring a seamless experience from consultation to the big day.
